Halal Food by Ahmed Kabab

A halal meal adheres to Islamic dietary laws, meaning the food must be prepared according to specific guidelines.

  1. Meat Preparation: Meat must come from an animal slaughtered in the name of Allah by a Muslim who uses a specific method called Zabiha. This ensures the animal’s blood is fully drained, which is essential for halal meat.

  2. Prohibited Foods: Pork and any of its byproducts, as well as alcohol, are strictly forbidden. Meat from carnivorous animals or improperly slaughtered animals is also not halal.

  3. Permissible Ingredients: Foods such as fruits, vegetables, grains, seafood, and dairy are generally halal, provided they have not been contaminated with non-halal substances.
